Police in Branson investigate an early morning stabbing Tuesday, and end up arresting the victim on unrelated matters.
Darryl Jefferson, 19, told police he and a friend saw two women throwing beer bottles at the friend's car outside a tavern in Branson overnight.
Jefferson told police they followed the women to a house on Hillcrest Place in Branson. He claims he was attacked by several people and was stabbed twice in the back.
Jefferson was able to leave the scene of the attack and get to a hospital for treatment.
But when police showed up to investigate, they learned Jefferson had 5 active arrest warrants for misdemeanor crimes. He was taken into custody on those warrants, Branson police say.
