Wrench Attack Leads to Charges

Charges are filed against a man from Battlefield, Missouri for a weekend assault involving a wrench.
Police say the attack took place at a party on South Wabash.
According to court documents, Ryan Smith (left), 25, hit a 22 year old man in the face with a wrench causing significant facial injuries.
Prosecutors charge Smith with second degree assault, first degree tampering and armed criminal action.
His bond was set at $75,000.
