Missouri State Highway Patrol Offers Driving Tips For The Holidays

(Saint Louis) -- The Missouri State Highway Patrol is offering tips for those traveling during the holidays.
Officers are reminding travelers they can find out the road conditions by calling 1-800-222-6400.
Drivers should also make sure their vehicles are winterized and to allow extra time to reach their destination if weather conditions should be bad.
There were over 1,800 traffic crashes during the counting period over the Christmas holiday last year.
