(St. Louis) -- A right to life group is taking steps to stop Missouri tax dollars from being used for abortion, human cloning, and other types of controversial research.
Yesterday the Missouri Roundtable For Life filed language to put a citizen initiative on the November 2010 ballot.
The "Taxpayer Protection Amendment" would forbid the use of tax dollars for abortion services and on controversial research.
Organizers will promote this initiative with a statewide tour beginning on Thursday in Springfield.
