Springfield Dog Park Set to Open

(Springfield, MO) -- The first phase of the new dog park in Springfield is complete.
And this Saturday, November 22, the Springfield-Greene County Park Board will hold a dedication ceremony at 10:00 a.m. inside Loren Park on West Catalpa.
The 12-acre site includes an off-leash park, a fenced area for small dogs and a bigger area for large dogs.
Park board staff will be registering dogs both Saturday and Sunday. It's $25 per dog for a year-long access and daily passes will be $10 per dog. You'll need proof of vaccinations.
