Free Admission to Springfield History Museum this Saturday

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The History Museum for Springfield-Greene County is offering free admission this Saturday, March 16.
That day is the public's final
opportunity to see a display that celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Park
Board. The exhibit focuses on ten historic parks in
Admission to the museum, located at 155 Park Central Square, will be free between 10:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The free admission also coincides with the Springfield St. Patrick's Day Parade.
The Park Board continues with its centennial celebration throughout 2013, including traveling exhibits, a community input campaign and the Park Board's 100th Birthday Bash, set for Saturday, May 18, at Phelps Grove Park.
