SPOKANE, MO -- Two people were arrested after leading law enforcement on a high speed chase through three counties this morning.
Lt. Truman Isbell with the Ozark Police Department says officers received a tip that a man with a warrant out for his arrest was driving to Ozark because he was involved in a child custody dispute.

Lt. Isbell says officers pulled over the man's blue and white Ford F-150 near Lowe's in Ozark. A woman was driving the truck and officers learned she also had warrants out for her arrest. The man in question was in the passenger seat.

The vehicle drove off onto Highway 65 and officers chased them through Christian, Stone and Taney Counties until the truck pulled into a field near Spokane and the two suspects bailed out of the vehicle and ran.
The male and female suspects were arrested and are being held in the Christian County Jail pending charges.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol was also involved in the pursuit.
