Choc. Truffle Brownies
From Cookbook called "Bake!" by Nick Malgieri
2 Sticks Unsalted Butter
10 ounces bittersweet chocolate: I use 14-16 ounces of Ghirardelli milk choc chips
2 cups light brown sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. After butter starts to sizzle add chocolate chips: continue to stir until all chocolate chips have melted. Mix with rest of ingredients in a bowl.
Oven to 350 for about 30 mins using a 9x13" pan.
After brownies cool for 20-30 mins invert the brownies to a cutting board and remove the pan. Wrap the brownies and board with plastic wrap a few times. Then set in fridge for 4-8 hours.
