LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Governor Mike Beebe says if the legislature sent him a bill to repeal the death penalty, he would sign it.
The Arkansas Times reports Beebe made the statement while speaking at a Political Animals Club event in Little Rock Wednesday.
The last execution in Arkansas was carried out in 2005.
