An Ice Storm Warning wasalso issued for areas farther south in central and central-east Arkansas. Many schools in central Arkansas dismissed early because of ice and snow.
Meanwhile, the Marion County Sheriff's Office is asking drivers stay off the roads if possible and use extreme caution if you must drive anywhere.
Many roads, including areas along Highway 14, 62 and 235 have been temporarily shut down due to several weather related accidents.
