Follow Up: Missouri State University Names New Bookstore Director

Reinartz replaces Mark Brixey (right), who resigned Aug. 17 amid controversy surrounding missing funds at the bookstore.

"We were very pleased with the number of experienced and qualified applicants for the bookstore director position," said Dr. Earle Doman, vice president for student affairs. "Based on her background and campus interviews, Sonda surfaced as our clear choice. Her many references confirmed our evaluation.
"We are excited and looking
forward to having Sonda join our bookstore management team. We are confident
that her leadership skills and experience will move our bookstore and affiliate
operations forward."
Reinartz's appointment will be formally presented to the Board of Governors for approval at an upcoming meeting. Her starting salary will be $78,000.
