Update: Man Taken to Hospital After Springfield House Fire

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A man** is being being treated at a local hospital after fire breaks out in a home early today in Springfield.
Springfield emergency dispatchers say the fire was reported before 4:30 am at a house near Atlantic and Lexington on Springfield's northwest side.
Springfield Fire Captain Mark Clinkenbeard tells KOLR10 News one of the two men living at the house suffered burns to the face.
Clinkenbeard says when fire crews got to the house, heavy flames were coming from the back of the house, causing heavy damage.
Fire crews remain on the scene as of 5 am. The Red Cross has been called in to help the two men who lived there.
