SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Catholic Irish boys soccer team won its second-straight state championship on Saturday. On Sunday they visited the OSS studios.

Catholic defeated So. Boone County 1-0 on Saturday for the Class 1 state championship. It was the Irish's fifth-straight Final Four appearance, and fourth-consecutive trip to the final game.

Dan Renner had the winner for Catholic on a header with about 15 minutes left in the game. The assist went to Reilly Harbach on a corner kick.

Catholic's seniors joined Nick Carboni in studio no Ozarks Sports Sunday.

Co-captains Dan Renner, Mitch Moncada, James Straus, and Evan Craig were joined by coach Tom Guinn.
