Details on Saturday's Beerfest to Benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- You can enjoying a good brew while helping out Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks this weekend.

Laura Brand from BBBS gives us all the details of the year's Ozarks Beerfest, which is Saturday, November 16, in Springfield at the Shrine Mosque.

More About This Event:

The 4th annual Ozarks Beerfest presented by Price Cutter will be held this Saturday, November 17th from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Shrine Mosque. Tickets are available for purchase to anyone 21 years or older at select Price Cutter locations, Springfield Brewing Company and Mother's Brewing Company.

Patrons can also purchase tickets online until 5:00 pm on Friday, November 16th at General Admission tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Patrons have the option of purchasing a $50 VIP ticket, which includes an Ozarks Beerfest mug, $10 in Beer Bucks (to spend on beer-related merchandise at the event) and exclusive admittance into the event at 1:00 pm.

Beer enthusiasts can sample more than 140 micro and craft brews from 11 microbreweries and five distributors across the Midwest. Springfield eateries will also provide delicious food samples including Garbo's Pizzeria, Galloway Station, Johnsonville Sausage, Benissimo! Gelato, Springfield Brewing Company, Float Trip Pickles, Finnegan's Wake and Rib Crib.

Clint and Cole from 100.5 The Wolf will emcee the event, while patrons can play Z-27 Beer Plinko, browse and purchase beer-related merchandise, and enter to win a $500 Bass Pro gift card, Budweiser beer-dispensing fridge, neon Mother's Brewing Company sign and more.
