JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- A man from Missouri is cleared of rape after spending 30 years in prison.
A jury previously convicted George Allen Jr., who is from St. Louis, for raping and murdering a woman in 1982. But DNA evidence recently cleared Allen.
Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster is appealing the overturning of Allen's conviction.
The Missouri Supreme Court may also review the case.
