Thousands of Runners in Springfield This Weekend for Bass Pro Marathons

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- About 4,500 runners from all over the country are expected in Springfield this weekend, for a series of marathon runs as part of the Bass Pro Fitness Festival.
Some of the major events this weekend include a Camo 2 mile fun/run - Saturday November 3rd (9:00am)
The Bass Pro Shops Conservation Marathon
The Maynard Cohick Marathon - expects 1,600 runners
The Bass Pro Shops Conservation Marathon Relay
The Ozark Greenway 5k/Run walk
The primary marathon starts at 7 a.m. Sunday, November 4 in front of Bass Pro Shops. Organizers say a record number of runners are expected.
A fitness expo is also set up all weekend in the White River Conference Center.
