Flores Makes Quick Work of McNemar

(Springfield, Mo.) -- Willard native BJ Flores defends his NABA, and WBC Continental America's belts, and takes the the vacant NABA belt, with a win Saturday over David McNemar at the Shrine Mosque.
He's also one step closer to a WBO Cruiserweight world title shot.
The fight aired on Z27.
McNemar was a last second replacement after Ahmed Samir suffeed a broken hand last week in New York.
In the second round with 2:20 to go, Flores knocks down McNemar, who wanted a "below-the-belt" call.Z
At 1:47, McNemar is seemingly knocked down, but slipped off of Flores.
At 1:06, Flores uses a jab to set up a knockdown.
McNemar's corner called the fight 2:14 in the second round, giving Flores a TKO.
Flores improves to 28-1-1, and says he's lined up to be the mandatory contender for a WBO Cruiserweight title bout.
