Springfield -- It was a delicious day on Park Central Square in Springfield Saturday.

Cool temps and a little bit of rain didn't stop people from digging in at the Taste of Springfield to sample what the city has to offer.

30 local restaurants came out to feed those at the festival, there was also beer sampling, plenty of vendors, and local music.

Ten dollars got people ten taste tickets that could be used at any booth.
The wide variety of samples included everything from local favorites to ethnic cuisine and desserts.

Tast Of Springfield attendee Lindsey Pope said "It's actually a pretty amazing way to try all sorts of different foods and maybe restaurants that I haven't been able to before. Small portion sizes kind of gives you a way to taste test something that maybe you wouldn't normally taste test"

Taste of Springfield is the fastest growing festival in Southwest Missouri.

The event wrapped up at 4 p.m.
