SPRINGFIELD, Mo--Finally, cross country runners from more than 30 schools were on hand at the 2012 Springfield Catholic Irish Invitational.
The event was held at the cross country venue which is actually on top of the Springfield Underground facility.
This is the largest regular season cross country meet in Southwest Missouri.
On the boys side Catholic won the bigger school division, while Sparta won the smaller division.
On the girls side, Bolivar won the bigger school division with Catholic taking the small school division.
