Concert Brings Former Attorney General to Springfield

SPRINGFIELD,Mo. -- The Messiah Project, Incorporated presented its 5th
annual Heritage of Hymns concert at Evangel University Sunday.
Former U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft hosted the event.
"There's nothing that inspires me more than congregations singing hymns songs that are understandable and simple enough that even I can be involved with them to remind us of the greatness of god and importance of proper worship," says Ashcroft.
The concert was free to the public.
