Street Machines Roll into Springfield

(SPRINGFIELD)--- Some engines are roaring in the Ozarks this weekend.
Car enthusiasts are gathering at the Ozarks Empire Fairgrounds for the 24th Annual O'Reilly Auto Parts Fall Street Machine Nationals.
High performance street machines, hot rods and street trucks are all on display.
A burnout competition, a show and shine competition, and a demolition derby will all be taking place at the fair all weekend.
The event is kid friendly, with a family fun zone, as well as a performance market place to buy all the latest car parts.
"It's great i mean talking cars with other guys , you know and the camaraderie and just hanging out with everybody and everyone got one one common theme and goal you know it's really neat." says Jeff Wildhaver, a participant at this year's event.
Tickets are $13 at the gate and continues Sunday, September 30th, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
