Clerk: Greene County Could Set a Record in This Election

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Absentee voting is underway across Missouri.

Greene County County Clerk Richard Struckhoff says the number of votes cast in the November election could break the record set four years ago.

More than 127,000 people went to the polls or voted absentee in Greene County in 2008.

If you need to vote absentee, ballots can be filled out in person and by mail.

Struckhoff encourages anyone who qualifies to vote absentee to do so,  because most polling places will be busy on election day.  Contact your county clerk to obtain a ballot.
