Springfield -- Harvest fest kicked off six weeks of Fall Festivities in Springfield Saturday.

The festival at Rutledge-Wilson Farm Community Park has activities for all ages including farm demonstrations, pumpkin decorating, and a hay ride.

There's also live music from 5 to 8 p.m.

A 'Pick Your Own' Pumpkin Patch will be opened every weekend until Halloween.

Rutledge-Wilson Recreation Coordinator Nick Breithaupt "It's a great family friendly activity to celebrate fall. Everyone wants to get outside when the weather cools down they want to be able to pick their own pumkin , they want to just celebrate time together and this is the perfect time of year to do that."

Starting the first friday in October, the farm will host a Haunted Trail Ride through Halloween.
