Steefest Celebrates Life and Memory of Steeler Seaburn

Willard, Mo. -- A festival for a good cause took place in Willard today. Steefest is an event to remember and honor Willard High School Student Steeler Seaburn who was killed in a hit and run.

Steefest featured fun for all ages, with a poker run , kid's zone , car show, and silent auction.
All the events benefit the Steeler Seaburn Memorial wrestling scholarship.
Seaburn was killed in April of this year. No arrest have been made or charged filed in his death.
Seaburn aspired to wrestle in college
The Steefund assists wrestlers from Southwest Missouri who are pursuing higher education.

Jeanann Nicholas who does marketing for Steefund said " For kids in southwest missouri area , cc schools , Springfield schools , other schools in this area , we would like to take it state wide if we can raise the money and the awareness."

Nicholas said the festival was extremely successful today.
