Operation: Round Up Nets 48 Arrests

A recent law enforcement effort in the Ozarks lands 48 people behind bars on drug-related charges.
Dubbed “Operation: Round Up”, members of the Combined Ozarks Multi-Jurisdictional Enforcement Team or COMET made the arrests between April 23-27 as part of a national effort to crack down on drugs. In addition to the arrests, the task force also seized quantities of marijuana, meth, meth paraphernalia, psilocybin mushrooms, handguns and an amount of abused prescription medication along with a variety of other drugs.
The arrests were made in Greene, Christian, Stone, Taney, Webster, Polk and Lawrence Counties.
