Mizzou Dealing With O Line Injuries

COLUMBIA, Mo--Now that the hype of his first Southeastern Conference game behind him, Mizzou football coach Gary Pinkel has other things to worry about.

Like a mounting injury list, and the fact that his offensive line is going to be tested again Saturday night.

In our Tiger nation report, Pinkel talked about the injury situation and the game against the Sun Devils.

Sixth year senior Elvis Fisher went out with a knee injury in the first half of saturday night's loss to Georgia.

Pinkel had to shuffle around his lineman, including Lebanon product Justin Britt.

And insert a redshirt freshman and that lineup will start against 2-0 Arizona State.

He said they actually prepared for this scenario.

"Justin Britt, during the game we moved him from right tackle to left tackle," said Mizzou coach Gary Pinkel. "This was all planned. All these decisions were made a week ago. We practiced a little bit just in case the worse case scenario came up. And it came up. So at least we practiced it. And that's how we're going to line up going into this game. That's how it's set up for this game..."
