JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Some Missouri Republican are questioning whether presidential candidate
Mitt Romney is conservative enough. But Missouri incumbent Lt. Governor
Peter Kinder says the party should rally around Romney.
Kinder says the former Massachusetts governor wasn't his first choice.
But he says Romney is the nominee and failing to support him is to support another four years of what he calls Barack Obama's "disastrous presidency."
Republicans won Missouri in 2008 by less than 4,000 votes.
