20-year-old Lebanon Man Drowns in Niangua

(Camden Co., Mo) -- A twenty-year-old Lebanon man died after deciding to go for a swim in the Niangua River. James Larger was fishing in the Niangua when he decided to go for a swim.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol report says Larger started to struggle and bystanders rushed to rescue Larger, but were unable to reach him in time. The release says this is Troop F's seventh drowning of the year.
