Springfield Fire Department Lifts Commercial Fireworks Ban

The rain earlier this week has allowed the Springfield Fire Department to reinstate limited commercial fireworks use across the city.
The Department says each proposed display will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis, and additional fire protection requirements may be required based on where the displays will be held.
