Giving 'Hope' To Disabled Children and Vets Who Love the Outdoors

Rogersville -- Outdoor enthusiasts got to compete in a bow shoot for a good cause today in Rogersville.
Gordan's Feed and Pet hosted the shoot to help raise money for Hope Outdoors a charity that helps disabled children and veterans get a chance to fulfilll their dreams of hunting , fishing and camping.
Various vendors with hunting blinds, tree stands and deer attractants were also set up for everyone to display this years new equipment.
Volunteers and bow hunters from around the country came to help out and raise money for Hope Outdoors.
Volunteer Dave Russell said " People that haven't had a chance to do what we love to do and were just trying to raise money and give them the opportunity to enjoy hunting, fishing, just outdoor sports. We'll you've always loved to hunt but it's kind of like its gotten old, you know just going hunting but now when I'm able to share the experience. It's filled that void it's got me excited again."
More than 700 people are expected to attend the event.
