Body Found on MSU Parking Lot

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- An autopsy is scheduled for later this week on a body found in a car on a Missouri State University parking lot.
According to Springfield police, at around 5:50 p.m., Sunday, a passerby called to report a body in a car parked in Lot 44, at 715 E. Elm. That's across the street from MSU's Transit Operations Center.
According to Lt. Vance Holland, the body is that of a 28 year old white male. The name of the victim is not being released until the family is notified, but police say he was not a student at MSU and foul play is not suspected.
