Sources
confirm to KOLR10 News that the former Alaska governor and GOP vice
presidential nominee is finalizing details for her visit, planned just ahead of
the August 7 primary election.
Late Wednesday, the Kansas City Star reported the campaign stop would be at a blueberry farm in Kansas City on Friday, in which both Republicans would be serving up food.
In mid-July, Palin threw her support behind Steelman and recently called her a fellow "mama grizzly" in a TV ad.
Steelman
is engaged in a three-way
race against former St. Louis businessman John Brunner and U.S. Rep. Todd Akin.
The winner of next week's primary will take on Democratic Senator Claire
McCaskill later this year.
