SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The ramps at two I-44 interchanges west of Springfield will be closed at night beginning Monday to allow contractors to repair the pavement.

The ramps being repaired are at Route PP and Route K near Halltown, Mo., and the interchange at Route N and Route T north of Republic, Mo.

They will be closed one at a time between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. through Thursday each week.

Crews will remove deteriorated concrete and replace it with a new surface.

The work is part of a larger project to make extensive repairs to the pavement on Highway 60 between Highway 65 in Springfield and Route 95 in Mtn. Grove, Mo. The project also includes pavement repair at several interchanges along Highway 60 in the Mansfield/Mtn. Grove areas.

The entire project is expected to be completed by December.
