Ed Martin: State Has Too Many Rules and Regulations

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Republican Missouri Attorney General candidate Ed Martin says the state has too many rules and regulations.

During campaign stops in southwest Missouri, Martin says if he is elected, he would form a task force to go over state rules and regulations.

"Maybe we have regulations that are obsolete, that need to be eliminated. That's another good project that I think an attorney general could look and say this isn't working."  

Martin faces a primary opponent -- political unknown Adam Warren of Chilicothe -- on August 7, but throughout his campaign, Martin has been aiming comments directly at incumbent attorney general Chris Koster, a Democrat.
