SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A simulation lab, used to help train students at OTC in several healthcare fields, could get a financial boost if the public pitches in with some money over the next year.
The Community Foundation of the Ozarks has issued a challenge grant, offering to match dollar for dollar, up to $25,000 to help pay for the OTC Allied Health Clinical Simulation Center.
If the maximum amount is raised by June 30, 2013, that would mean a total of $50,000 for the lab.
The Center is used as a simulation lab for training students in a dozen healthcare programs at OTC.
