Mike the Intern: Bands Playing July 7-9, 2012

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- It's summer and with college being out, it's a good time to support your local bars, music clubs and bands!

Mike the Intern from 104.7 The Cave was back on Ozarks Local Live @ 4 Friday to chat about some great shows coming up.

First up, The Yowl, Three Fine Lines, The Gardenheads and Gorgeous George will be bringing their own versions of Rock 'n Roll  to the Outland Ballroom. Doors will open at 9 p.m. and will set you back about 5 bucks. 

Tech N9ne is bringing his 2012 Hostile Takeover tour to Springfield's Gillioz Theatre tonight (July 9th). Known for his blindingly fast rhyming skills, Tech N9ne always puts on a great show. Doors open at 8 p.m. and tickets start at $26.50.

Monday night, Indie Rock band Death Cab for Cutie will be coming to Springfield. The July 9 concert is sold out.

"I apologize in advance, but this show has been sold out for little over a week," Mike said Friday. "But if you are going, you are going to have a blast and if you want to go, you may want to hit up Craigslist in the meantime to see if you can score some more tickets."
