Springfield Firefighters Keep Garage Fire From Spreading

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Firefighters in central Springfield are investigating what sparked a garage fire overnight.
They got the call shortly before 1:00 a.m. Monday.
Crews arrived on the 2700 block of West Lombard to find flames coming out of a detached garage.
They were able to contain the fire within 15 minutes.
No one was hurt.
With the extent of the damage-- it may be a while before the determine what started it.
But fire investigators say they are not ruling it suspicious.
