(Omaha, NE) -- The Arkansas Razorbacks won their first game of this year's College World Series on Saturday, beating Kent State 8-1.

That earned the Hogs a late night date Monday night with the two-time defending national champion South Carolina Gamecocks.

South Carolina has not lost a College World Series game in 12-straight tries.

Never-the-less, Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn says the team is loose, knowing a loss tonight, won't send them packing in the double-elimination format.

"It's a total different feeling," said Van Horn. "Instead of the feeling of being 0-1, knowing that you're one loss away from ending your season, disappointed. We're 1-0, we're loose, we're playing in a night game, we're in the winner's bracket. It's just a little bit of a more relaxing feeling."
