Woman Injured in Crash of Two Boats at Lake of Ozarks

(Camden County, MO)--A woman from St. Louis County is recovering from injuries after two boats collide at Lake of the Ozarks over the weekend.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says Jennifer Stecher, 40, of Chesterfield, was hurt when the boat she was on was hit by another. Troopers say the first boat tried to pull away from the Stecher's boat while the anchor was still lowered, causing the boats to collide.
The driver of the first boat tried again to pull away, and hit the Srecher's boat a second time.
He then left the scene at the 35 mile marker of the Osage arm of the lake.
Jennifer Stecher was taken to a lake area hospital with moderate injuries.
