Woman Dead After Vernon Co. Crash

(Nevada, MO) -- An 80-year-old woman is dead after she turned the car she was driving in front of an SUV in Vernon County, Missouri Saturday night, records show.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Mary Wallace, 80, of Walker, Missouri, died after the wreck on US 54 in Nevada, Missouri. The report says Wallace was making a left turn.
Both the 17-year-old driver of the SUV and Wallace were wearing seat belts.
