(Waynesville, MO) -- A Grove man will go to prison for a high-speed chase and shooting with Missouri State Troopers.
On Friday, a judge sentenced Cody Willcoxson, 32, to two 30-year sentences, which are set to run concurrently.
Willcoxson
pleaded guilty in April to two counts of Assault and Attempted Assault on Law
Enforcement Officers.
The charges stem from a May 2011 incident when police say Willcoxson used a fake ID to try and get into Fort Leonard Wood.
After running his car through a security gate, he led police on a 120 mile-per-hour pursuit through Rolla while firing more than 90 rounds out his window.
Willcoxson is a three-time escapee from the Delaware County Jail, where he was serving time for burglary.
