(Springfield, MO) -- Missouri State University and Ozarks Technical Community College have signed two articulation agreements.

Under the agreements signed Tuesday, OTC students can transfer their Associate of Science and Applied Science degrees toward completion of a bachelor's degree entirely online with MSU.

OTC students may transfer their credits for junior status with MissouriStateUniversity. Similarly, a Bachelor of Science in criminology can be completed online for OTC students who have earned an Associate of Arts.

The agreements were signed in the Board of Trustees Room by OTC Chancellor Dr. Hal Higdon and MSU Interim President Clif Smart.

"Our relationship with Missouri State has been great for 22 years," said Dr. Higdon. "It's never been better than it has in the last year. When you look at just Missouri State and OTC, our economic impact is just phenomenal."

"One of the things that we have emphasized this year at Missouri State is figuring out as many ways as we can to work with [OTC]," said Smart.
