(Jefferson City, MO)--America was captivated Tuesday with election results in the recall attempt of Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin.

Walker easily kept his seat, and Missouri Republican congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer says the results will change the outlook for public sector unions all around the country.

"This particular election will probably set the tone for negotiations with public unions throughout the country."

Luetkemeyer says with many states struggling with their budgets, the era of the public workers' unions is probably coming to an end.
