(Springfield, Mo.) -- At this point there's no luck involved.
The Catholic Lady Irish girls soccer team has taken their talents to the Final Four three years in a row and won two-straight state titles.
And they were looking to make it four-straight appearances in Saturday's Class 1 quarters here in Springfield
The Irish hosting Sacred Heart out of Sedalia.
And the gremlins take the lead with 13 minutes left in the first half. Morgan Bogue scores and the Irish are down 1-0.
That didn't last long. Sophomore Lydia Holtmann notched a pair of goals to give Catholic a 2-1 lead, and with 58 seconds remaining in the first half, Michelle Garrison hits a chip shot and Catholic goes on to win 5-1.
They'll face Principia in the Class 1 semis on June 1.
