Branson Native Mike Compton Dominates For No. 1 Florida State

(Springfield, Mo.) -- Branson native Mike Compton is a freshman at Florida State and starts for the No. 1 Seminoles.
Compton joined OSS from Tallahassee, FL on Saturday, fresh off his six-inning, seven-strikeout performance in a Seminoles win over No. 17 N.C. State in FSU's regular-season finale.
Compton improved to 10-1, and has a 2.96 ERA. The Seminoles are the top seed in the ACC Tournament, which begins on May 23 in Greensboro, N.C.
