(Springfield, MO) -- If you're still looking for graduation gifts, your time is running out.

Emily Washburn and Roxanne Taylor are graduating tonight, and they gave us some suggestions to help you get started.

"Right now, most college students just need the money," says Emily. "I think we're all very broke at this point."

"Well my dad says that I have some cards in the mail back home, so hopefully they're full of money," says Roxanne.

Washburn is moving to Kansas City after graduation. She says anyone starting a new job would like anything geared toward that.

"Probably things for my new apartment, or for my new career, new clothes, pots and pans!"

She says to take into consideration where they're going after graduation.

"See what their next step is and maybe direct your gift towards their future."

Taylor's next stop is New York City. She says a good gift idea would be a trip before starting the next chapter.

"I've always wanted to go out of the country and especially now that I just graduated and I don't really have any obligations in the next month or so, I just thought it would be a nice time to travel."

She says getting a gift card never fails.

"They can kind of do what they want to do with it and there's no point in risking something that they won't like."

Or you could give something a little more personal.

"A massage. It's been a pretty stressful week, especially with finals and I know everyone's kind of nervous about graduating and going out into the real world."

Emily says she can definitely relate to that.

"I'm feeling anxious, also very sad because I'm going to be leaving all my friends."

Roxanne recommends staying away from what doesn't work: clothes.

"I think usually when someone tried to give you clothes, that can be pretty iffy unless they know your style and your sizes really, really well. I would stay away from that. I don't think usually you get clothes for graduation, but some people try to play that card."

Spoken like a true fashion and merchandising major.
