Sleepwalking is more prevalent among American adults that previously suspected. Researchers at Stanford University found that more than 3 percent of adults, or more than one million people, are prone to sleepwalking. The study also found that people who suffer from depression and anxiety are more likely to wander in their sleep.
New research finds the superbug starts in large hospitals and then spreads to smaller ones. Scientists in Scotland say they've found evidence that shows how the MRSA bacteria moves from hospital to hospital. They found that regional hospitals in big cities - where many patients are treated - serve as breeding grounds for the superbug, which is mainly spread on people's hands.
Even if high blood pressure runs in your family, you can significantly reduce your risk with moderate exercise, and better cardiovascular fitness. Researchers at the University of South Carolina studied more than 6,000 people, those who were fit had a 34 percent lower risk of developing high blood pressure - even if they had a parent who had the disease.
