Every four hours a child goes to the emergency room with an injury from a bottle, pacifier or sippy cup. That's according to researchers at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Kids get hurt when they fall and are using one of the items. The most common injuries are cuts and bruising to the mouth and face. Experts suggest parents try to use bottles and cups when children are sitting.

According to a new study in the journal Pediatrics, young adults with autism have a harder time getting a job, compared to people with other disabilities. Numbers show autistic adults are 50 percent less likely to have a job in the first two years after high school than other special ed students. They are also less likely to pursue higher education. This year in the U.S., approximately 50,000 kids with will turn 18.

Women are more likely than men to have post traumatic stress after being treated in the intensive care unit. Researchers say receiving life saving treatment can cause PTSD in patients--but women are more at risk for long term problems like depression and anxiety. The journal Critical Care also reports that those at high risk respond well to psychological treatment.
