And Glendale was attacking Kickapoo in most of the first half, here Drianna Raff turns the corner, her shot is stopped by the Chiefs McKenzie Danzer before Molly Brewer could get there.
Later Brewer, a future Missouri State Bear, gets a shot off, Danzer knocks it down and then corrals the loose ball, still scoreless.
Kickapoo would make the most of its opportunity, Miriam Melugin with the shot, Glendale's Kindra Lierz deflects the ball, but it does not go over the crossbar, it falls in and into the net for a goal, it's 1-nothing Chiefs.
But Glendale goes onto win 2-one.
