Search on For Robbery Suspect in Christian County, MO

(Clever, MO)--Deputies in Christian County, Missouri, along with the Highway Patrol, are searching for a man they believe broke into a house near Billings early this morning, then fled in a stolen car.
The Christian County Sheriff's Department got a call about 6:20 a.m. Tuesday about a robbery at a house in the Clever area. The caller said the man had ran from the house on foot. But Patrol spokesman Sgt. Jason Pace says at some point the man apparently stole a car in the area, which he later ditched.
Deputies and troopers, along with the Patrol's helicopter, are search for the man in an area west of Nixa off Carroll Road north of Highway 14.
